When did you first decide you wanted to be a writer?

I was in my mid twenties when I first decided to see if I liked writing - so I took three months off and worked on a story because I simply wasn't sure whether the process of it, the focus and the 'inside-my-mind-ness', was something I'd enjoy. It still took me nearly ten years following that to make it happen!

How long does it take you to write a book?

That very much depends on the book, as I am constantly discovering! I've found that the longer I've been thinking about the characters and their journeys, the shorter it takes for me to sit at the computer and 'write'.

What is your work schedule like when you are in the middle of a book?

I start first thing in the morning and write until I stop (which is usually around lunchtime). I always like to leave the computer knowing - and looking forward to - what I'm going to write next.

Tell us about your book...

When Dimitri discovers that he has a child, nothing will stop him from claiming his heir. Not even his little daughter's mother. For Dimitri, family is the most important thing. He knows what it was like to grow up illegitimate and unwanted and will not stand for his child to believe that too. But Anna is just as determined to protect her child - to give her all the things she never had herself. The only way for both to get what they want is though marriage. It's not long before the irresistible chemistry threatens to consume them both entirely... but will they risk everything for love?

About Pippa Roscoe

Mills & Boon author Pippa Roscoe lives in Norfolk near her family and makes daily promises that this will be the day she will leave the computer and take a long walk in the countryside. She can’t remember a time when she wasn’t dreaming of gorgeous alpha males and misunderstood heroines. Totally her mother’s fault of course—she gave Pippa her first romance to read at the age of seven! She is inconceivably happy that she gets to share those daydreams with her readers.

  2. So she never told the guy that he had a kid? Not my favorite type of story as I think it's done too often.

    1. I know. But reading the different spin every author puts on the secret baby storyline is interesting. Why she didn't tell him? The reason behind the secret baby is always intriguing!

    2. Hi Mary, without giving too much away, she definitely did her best to! But I totally get having preferences for other stories and I'm sure that the March Harlequin Presents line up has one or two that will definitely take your fancy. Happy reading! Best wishes!
