I cry at everything. Probably Narnia, as a young child. Or any of Enid Blyton’s Famous Five books.

The Secrets of Palmerston House is the third in the Christie Ryan Romantic Mystery series. Christie loves puzzles and mysteries, but in the lead up to a highly anticipated wedding, they are the last things on her mind. But a stranger arrives to stay at Palmerston House, the grand old home now open for guests. He seems to know a lot about the town, the house, and one of the other long-term guests. Before long, the town is waist-high in speculation as the story goes back and forth to 1853. At the same time, another character is considering her own future in a secondary story which will changes two lives. The end is quite thrilling and if you like a like bit of danger, a dash of suspense, and truckload of romance and mystery, you’ll love The Secrets of Palmerston House.
The Christmas Key is the final book in the Christie Ryan Romantic Mystery series. It is a novella which can be read as a standalone. There is just one more mystery to solve in River’s End and Christie’s great aunt Martha Ryan is the one determined to solve it. Despite being busy in the Christmas rush with her new beauty salon, Christie offers to help, and they begin digging into the past. Meanwhile, at Palmerston House, trouble brews for Elizabeth and Angus at a time when people should be at their closest. ReplyDeleteThank you! The Secrets of Palmerston House was so interesting to research, going back to the early days of Victoria here in Australia. With no real roads, it would have been so challenging moving large items from Melbourne to the remote town of River's End!
