Jasmine Sea: A River's End Love Story. Book Two by Phillipa Nefri Clark & Giveaway!

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Visit a romantic seaside town, be delighted by true love, outraged by a criminal intruder, and taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions as Christie fights to save those she loves.

What is your dream cast for your book?
Going for all Aussie: Sigrid Thornton, Liam Hemsworth (ok, any Hemsworth J), Sir Jeffrey Rush, Claudia Karvan, David Wenham. Not all at their current ages though J

What are you working on now?
The next novel is Paddy’s Lighthouse, a story about a boy who believes he can do anything, despite certain limitations, and how that inspires those around him. Told in retrospect by his big sister, it is dual timeline and will have romance, but is more serious in nature than the River’s End series.

Tell us a little bit about your book..

Jasmine Sea follows on from The Stationmaster’s Cottage, continuing the story of Christie & Martin, and to a lesser degree, Thomas & Martha. Christie is loving her new life but the arrival of a mystery woman turns things upside-down. It is all about facing one’s past and overcoming fears that otherwise might control us. This novel has lots of suspense and romance, moments of despair and others of poignant delight. Favourite characters such as Daphne have more to say and there may just be more than one romance again.

About the Author

Phillipa Nefri Clark grew up around lonely Australian beaches with wild seas and misty cliffs. From a young age she wrote stories and dreamed of being a writer. There were many detours along the way as she trod paths as diverse as a travelling sales rep to singing and acting. Fascinated by film, Phillipa wrote five feature length screenplays, one which was optioned. Now living in regional Victoria on a small acreage close to a mountain range, she markets the family business a few days a week and writes the rest of the time. With nonfiction credits for specialist canine publications, she finally returned to stories with the release of The Stationmaster’s Cottage, a dual timeline romance, in February 2017. Her great loves, apart from writing, are her family of two young adult sons and her husband, their Labrador, music,  fine wine, and friends.

    1. There's nothing quite as special, is there? River's End is fictional, but based on a few seaside towns I know and love. The story begins in The Stationmaster's Cottage (River's End Romance Book 1), with Christie arriving in a town she's never heard of, only to discover her family once owned much of it. All that's left now is the little cottage and a whole lot of old secrets. :-)
