Her Billion-Dollar Bump by Dani Collins #Giveaway

Cinderella’s confession:

“I’m pregnant.”

Housemaid Fliss gave up her fashion dreams to care for her late grandmother. So finding a discarded invitation to the year’s most exclusive event feels like her last chance to get her designs noticed. She just never imagined that attention would come from notorious Saint Montgomery

Knowing she doesn’t belong in the billionaire’s world, innocent Fliss can’t resist one night of Saint’s expert seduction. Except when his “thank you” diamonds land her in the headlines, she’s drawn back into his powerful presence. Because she has news of her own—and the bump to prove it!

  1. How did you pick the title for your books?

The titles are chosen by Harlequin. It’s a difficult process. Sometimes they sound a bit cheesy. This one does, but it’s a matter of pinging the online algorithms and helping readers know right away what kind of story they’re getting. In this one, you know right away that it’s a billionaire and an unexpected pregnancy.

  1. How did you choose the setting for your books?

This book is part of a loosely related trilogy with Maya Black and Emmy Grayson. We had a chat beforehand and basically tried to offer characters from a wide range of places. So I chose New York for Saint.

We also had to incorporate an exclusive diamond shop in Knightsbridge so I made Fliss British and set the opening in London.

  1. How did you come up with the names for your heroes and heroines?

I’m the worst for wanting my characters to have nicknames. I picked Felicity because it’s pretty and IMMEDIATELY shortened it to Fliss.

Saint is named saint because it’s the opposite of the type of man I wanted to convey. He’s got a terrible reputation—mostly from a misspent youth trying to irritate his father, lol.

4.What makes your heroes irresistible?

They’re very sexy and generous in bed, obviously. They usually have a sense of humor, even if it’s buried beneath grumpy cynicism. They’re protective and honorable, even when they’re suspicious or mistrustful of the heroine. They’re often dim bulbs when it comes to the fact they’re falling in love, but I happen to find that amusing so I write a lot of them like that.

5. Share some random facts about yourself...

I’ve been married over thirty years. When you add in the years we lived together, and dated in high school, I’ve been with my husband for over forty.

I do yoga every day unless I’m at the gym where I lift weights. I often post motivational sayings from my gym. They always seem to apply to artistic pursuits as well as health goals.

My secret bucket list is to visit all the wonderful places I research for my books!

6. Your advice to new writers.

You don’t need permission to start writing. Just do it. And no one can take it away from you.

If you decide to publish, it can be grueling because publishing is a business. It’s easy to lose faith in yourself at that point so remember to enjoy the writing side. That’s yours!
