In Too Deep by Dani Collins

In Too Deep (Blue Spruce Lodge Book 3)

At her wit’s end with her twelve-year-old niece, Wren Snow takes the manager’s job at Blue Spruce Lodge so Sky can get to know her father, Trigg Johanssen—a tycoon snowboarder with a playboy reputation.

Gold-medalist Trigg Johanssen is furious she kept Sky a secret, but quits competition to focus on his newly discovered daughter only to have his chemistry with Wren complicate their attempts to co-parent.

When outside forces threaten the ski resort he’s rebuilding, a marriage of convenience seems like the answer. It would give his daughter the life she deserves, but is it too much for a heartbroken woman still nursing past hurts?

Why should you read my book?

Do you like sexy playboys who are put on their back foot by the news they have a twelve-year-old daughter? How about a mousy heroine with a woeful past who wins his heart by being brave, loyal, and witty as heck? Also some of the scenes are in Sky’s point of view and she has some sarcastic thoughts about her new *dad*.

What is your dream cast for your book?

Can’t go wrong with Ryan Reynolds. I’d love to see him do something with Emma Stone and for Sky, I’m not sure. I don’t know any young actresses. Who is today’s equivalent of Ali Sheedy from Breakfast Club?

What are you working on now?

Revisions! I have a sweet Christmas book and a duet with Harlequin Presents next year about a pair of cousins who are looking for their grandmother’s heirloom earrings. Hint: the heroes have them and they won’t give them up without exacting a price!

About Dani Collins

Award-winning and USA Today Bestselling author Dani Collins thrives on giving readers emotional, compelling, heart-soaring romance with some laughter and heat thrown in, just like real life. Mostly she writes contemporary romance for Harlequin Presents and Tule’s Montana Born, but her backlist of forty books also includes self-published erotic romance, romantic comedy, and even an epic medieval fantasy. When she’s not writing—just kidding, she’s always writing. She lives in Christina Lake, BC with her high school sweetheart husband who occasionally coaxes her out of her attic office to visit their grown children—or travel.

  1. Marriage of convenience stories are so fun. Especially when the couple ends up liking each other enough to stay together.
